The Suarez Firm’s corporate practice provides comprehensive advice and representation to individuals and entities organized in the United States and abroad, in connection with their business structure, organization, and governance, in addition to contractual matters, including general contracts, acquisitions, and financings.

Patti Francis assists clients of The Suarez Firm with general corporate matters, including formation matters and contractual issues. She has practiced corporate law for 22 years. Prior to working with The Suarez Firm, Patti was a partner in the Corporate Group at Dow Lohnes & Albertson, working there for 19 years following three years of commercial lending practice in New York City, first with Nixon Hargrave and then moving laterally with a partner to Dewey Ballantine. She specialized in general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, finance and other business transactions. Patti’s practice includes counseling heads of companies and other executives at major media, private equity, and other companies on a day-to-day basis.

Patti received her JD from University of Virginia School of Law, where she was a Dillard Fellow, and BA from Mississippi State University (summa cum laude). She is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and is also a Certified Master Coach.
